A Few Affable People, Sharing a Philosophy of How the Game Should Be Played, Gather Near the End of the Road, at a Place Called Running Deer.
Running Deer Golf Club is a labor of love for the Carman family, who own and operate the Club in Southern New Jersey. 
Ed Carman, the patriarch, conceived, designed, and built the club with help from his sons, J.R., the Head Professional, Ted, the Course Superintendent, and wife Paula, his biggest supporter.
The entire family is committed to providing a first-rate facility where those who love the game can come together and enjoy camaraderie and a truly outstanding golfing experience.
The Goal at Running Deer will never be how many, but rather How Few.
Located in Pittsgrove Township, near Vineland, NJ Running Deer appeals to golfers with a sense of style and who have the ability to pay for the privilege of playing within a truly, solitary setting. Members enjoy the company of others whose passion for the game takes top priority. In this spirit, walking is permitted anytime at Running Deer.
The Club facilities include:
- A magnificent and unique 18 hole golf course that accomodates all skill levels - six sets of tees ranging from a tame 5,510 yards to an unyielding championship test of 7,074 yards.
